The laser welding machine control system has the following main functions:

Man-machine dialogue function

Automatic detection and real-time fault detection and alarm

RS-485 communication function

Pre-ignition and charge and discharge control functions


1. Man-machine dialogue function

Users can set, change, monitor and query the working status of the laser welding machine through the man-machine interface.

2. Automatic detection and real-time fault detection and alarm

When starting up, the software system is able to complete the initial state detection by itself, communicate with the man-machine interface, and have certain anti-interference capabilities. It has the function of real-time monitoring the work of the laser welding machine: It can detect 27 sets of sensor signals (analog and digital) in real time, and should immediately shut down the high-power power supply system and alarm when it encounters an abnormality.

3. RS-485 communication function

Accept the local remote control system and external 32 machine control and linkage, etc.

4. Pre-ignition and charge and discharge control functions

It can control the operation of the pre-combustion unit, charging unit and discharge unit of the laser welding machine, output the set laser power waveform signal to the discharge unit in real time, receive the actual laser power and electric power signal of the laser power detection unit and perform calculations to determine whether the laser output power Within the allowable range. According to the above functional requirements of the laser welding machine system, the working mode of the control system is determined as follows:

(1) Considering that software control requires A / D, D / A conversion and calculation, the control time cannot meet the needs of high-speed real-time control of the laser welding machine, so the hardware control of the laser welding machine charging and discharging feedback system can make the control cycle reach 20 microseconds and Greatly improve the laser power output stability; the software system is responsible for real-time detection, communication, calculation, storage and input and output.

(2) Sometimes for safety and convenient operation, the operation interface needs to be far away from the laser welding machine when the system is working, so the laser welding machine control system is divided into two parts: one part is the input display system to realize the setting, modification, monitoring, error record query of the laser welding machine working state And communication; the other part is the main control system, which is responsible for real-time detection of the operation, recording, calculation and storage of the control system.

(3) The RS-485 serial communication mode is adopted between the input display system and the main control system; external control is divided into I/O control and RS-485 serial communication modes, which can be selected by the user according to actual needs
